Trinity 2025 SHEC Summit – Strengthening Our Commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Community

Building on the success of our first two SHEC Summits in 2023 and 2024, Trinity is excited to continue its unwavering commitment to excellence in Safety, Health, Environment, and Community (SHEC). This year’s Annual SHEC Summit brings together our CEO, COO, CFO, General Managers, Leadership Team, Superintendents, and SHEC personnel from all three mining operations to reflect on our progress, set ambitious SHEC objectives for 2025, and align our strategies for a safer, healthier, and more sustainable future.

In 2024, we took an important step by expanding our discussions to cover all aspects of SHEC, recognizing that safety goes hand in hand with environmental stewardship, employee well-being, and community engagement. This holistic approach has led to remarkable improvements in our performance, reaffirming our belief that sustainability in mining can only be achieved when we prioritize every facet of SHEC.

Trinity SHEC Performance in 2024

A Glimpse Into 2025: As we gather in 2025, we’re focused on embracing bold SHEC objectives that will drive the next phase of our journey. Through collaboration, accountability, and innovation, we are determined to elevate our impact, reinforcing Trinity’s position as a leader in responsible, safe, and sustainable mining.

This Year’s Theme: “As a Miner, I Have the Right to Return Home Safely and Work in a Clean, Healthy Environment.” This powerful theme reminds us that safety is not merely a rule—it’s a fundamental right. Every miner deserves to work without the fear of injury, breathe clean air, and return home safely to their families. At the heart of this message is our commitment to ensuring that every member of the Trinity family is cared for and protected

What We Discussed:

  • Reviewing SHEC performance for 2024, celebrating our achievements, and setting clear objectives for 2025.
  • Identifying key areas for improvement to ensure that we continuously raise the bar for safety, health, and environmental stewardship.
  • Strengthening our collective responsibility to create a safer, healthier, and more sustainable workplace for all.
